Consistent launches 3MP Wi-Fi video doorbell in India

Consistent Infosystems has launched a 3MP Wi-Fi Video Doorbell in India, expanding its smart security range.
Aimed at homes and workplaces, the device lets users monitor visitors through a smartphone. Features include 3MP HD imaging, PIR motion detection, two-way audio, night vision and a 166° viewing angle.
Smart monitoring
It supports both cloud and SD card storage for recorded footage. With IP65 weather protection, the unit is intended for both outdoor and indoor use.
The launch comes as consumer electronics and security brands expand their smart surveillance portfolios with connected devices that can be managed remotely. Video doorbells have become a common entry point to home security systems, particularly for users seeking app-based alerts and remote communication with visitors.
Company reach
Consistent Infosystems sells IT hardware, networking products, surveillance equipment, print consumables, electronics and gaming products in India. According to the company, it began operations in New Delhi in 2011 and has since expanded across several parts of the country.
The company says it now operates more than 25 branches, has over 93 service centres, employs more than 400 people directly and works with 3,795 channel partners across India. It also exports to more than 17 countries and has a portfolio of over 693 products.
The video doorbell will be sold through the company's channel partner network across India and its online store. The approach reflects its reliance on a broad reseller base to reach both consumer and business buyers.
Security push
Yogesh Agrawal, Chairman, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Consistent Infosystems, commented on the launch.
