Genspark expands AI call agent globally with Twilio
Genspark has integrated Twilio Programmable Voice into its Call for Me AI agent, a product that places phone calls on behalf of users across more than 40 countries.
The company said the agent can make outbound calls, speak with businesses or individuals and return structured summaries of conversations to users. Genspark positions the tool for both everyday personal tasks and business workflows such as customer service enquiries.
Twilio provides the voice connectivity and APIs behind the service. Genspark said the arrangement gives it a single platform for international calling as it expands into more markets and languages.
Call automation
Genspark described Call for Me as an "AI agent for individuals" that completes phone-call tasks end-to-end. The agent places calls in real time and manages the interaction. Users start the process by describing what they want done.
In its description of the product, Genspark said the agent can handle scenarios such as booking appointments, managing reservations, gathering information and resolving customer service enquiries. The company also said it can run multilingual conversations and use real-time language translation.
"There's a huge amount of work that still lives behind phone calls, and communication shouldn't be a bottleneck," said Greg Sun, Lead Engineer, AI Call for Me, Genspark.
International reach
Genspark linked the deployment to its growth after the launch of Super Agent in April 2025. It said it then faced a need to scale telephony across more than 40 countries. The company cited local regulations, compliance requirements and varying expectations for call quality.
Genspark said Twilio's global voice network allowed it to consolidate global telephony onto a single compliant communications platform. It added that this reduced operational overhead and reduced the need to manage carrier integrations and regional regulations.
Genspark reported operational metrics for the calling service. It said the system achieved a 94.3% call success rate and 99.97% uptime. It also said the platform delivered sub-second latency and consistent call quality across regions.
Twilio platform
Twilio sells communications tools to software developers and businesses. Its products cover services such as voice calling, messaging and identity verification.
"Phone calls remain one of the fastest and most reliable ways to reach a business today. AI-driven calling makes that experience much easier, helping people move from questions to outcomes faster and with more confidence," said Robert Woolfrey, Vice President at Twilio.
Genspark also uses other Twilio products, including SendGrid for email campaigns and newsletters. It uses Twilio Verify for user onboarding from referral campaigns, and it said the tool minimises fraud.
Usage signals
Genspark said Call for Me has reached 180,000 unique users globally since integrating Twilio Programmable Voice. It also reported up to 800 daily outgoing calls to date.
The company said 23% of calls use real-time language translation. It linked that figure to cross-border communication use cases.
Genspark said it is developing additional business-focused functions based on Twilio's voice platform. It said future features will cover AI calling for customer engagement, sales follow-ups and operational workflows at scale.
"We're excited to support Genspark as they bring a new generation of intelligent, voice-based experiences to life, scaling across countries, languages, and everyday use cases," said Woolfrey.
