Mirai Minds has published a comparison of per-minute pricing for AI voice agent companies selling in India. The dataset covers 30 providers and includes published rates, billing terms, and call-charging methods.
It reviewed pricing pages from 14 providers that quote in rupees, seven global platforms that charge in US dollars, and nine vendors that do not show a per-minute rate on their websites.
The data indicates that the lowest published rate in the Indian market is ₹1 a minute. According to Mirai Minds, two companies - Voice Infra and Raya - list that price, though both require a monthly commitment.
Voice Infra ties the rate to a ₹1,00,000 monthly plan credited to a customer wallet, while Raya does not publish the amount of the required commitment. Among providers without a monthly commitment, the lowest published rate rises to ₹2 a minute.
TaskVox charges ₹2 a minute on a one-time prepaid recharge above ₹10,000, while its smallest recharge is priced at ₹4 a minute. Tellco AI lists a Starter plan at ₹2.50 a minute, and Sarvam AI prices its pay-as-you-go voice agents at ₹3.50 a minute before telephony charges.
Across the rupee-priced companies in the dataset, most published rates fall between ₹3.50 and ₹6 a minute when the buyer makes no commitment. The global platforms take a different approach, generally quoting prices in dollars and billing separately for language models, voice services, and phone lines.
Vapi charges USD $0.05 a minute for hosting, with model costs billed separately. Retell AI lists prices from USD $0.07 to USD $0.31 a minute depending on the model and voice, while Bland AI charges USD $0.14 a minute on its Start plan and bills telephony separately.
Price transparency
Nine companies in the comparison do not publish a per-minute price on their sites. They include Gnani.ai, Exotel, Ozonetel, Haptik, Yellow.ai, SquadStack, MyOperator, and Convin.
In those cases, buyers must obtain pricing after speaking to a sales team. The dataset records only figures shown on company pricing pages or official documentation, excluding blog posts, reviews, and sales quotes.
The comparison also highlights differences in what each rate includes. TaskVox, Ringg AI, and Raya state that the phone line is included, while Sarvam AI charges separately for the line at ₹0.20 per 30 seconds.
CallMissed lists phone carriage as a separate cost, and Bolna adds telephony and a platform fee per minute. Those distinctions can affect total spending even when headline per-minute rates appear similar.
Billing methods
The way providers count call duration also varies. Tabbly bills by the second and Voice Infra in 10-second blocks, while CallMissed applies a minimum charge of 30 seconds per call.
Ringg AI and Raya bill per connected minute, and OyeHello bills per started minute. For businesses making large numbers of short calls, these charging methods can materially change the final bill.
Mirai Minds gave the example of a 40-second order-confirmation call. A call billed as a full minute would cost 50% more than one billed by the second.
"Buyers kept asking us what a minute of AI calling should cost, and the honest answer was scattered across thirty websites," said Sneh Mehta, Founder, Mirai Minds.
"So we read every pricing page and put the numbers side by side, ours included. The headline rate is only half the story. Ask what it needs, whether the phone line is included, and how a call is rounded," said Mehta.
Search behaviour
Mirai Minds said the work began after changes in how customers search for suppliers. Two of its newest customers found it by asking ChatGPT to list voice AI providers in India and identify the cheapest options.
That matters because AI assistants rely on publicly available information when producing supplier shortlists. Companies that do not show prices on their websites may be harder to compare in those responses.
"Indian businesses are starting their vendor shortlist in an AI assistant," said Mehta.
"The assistant can only compare what companies publish. Open, dated prices make this market easier to read for everyone, including buyers who never talk to a salesperson," said Mehta.
The dataset records the lowest published per-minute rate for each company, the relevant plan, any commitment, the minimum spend or recharge required, whether telephony is included, and how calls are billed. Mirai Minds said each figure was checked against live company pages before publication, with rates shown in the currency used by each provider and excluding GST.
Mirai Minds appears in the dataset under the same method used for other providers. Its listed rates are ₹5 a minute on a pay-as-you-go basis, ₹3 a minute on a ₹50,000 monthly plan, and ₹1 a minute on a ₹1,00,000 monthly plan, before GST.
