TCS partners with Paris Marathon to revolutionise race tech

Tata Consultancy Services has been named the Official AI & Technology Partner of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris in a partnership lasting for the next three years.

The partnership will utilise Tata Consultancy Services' expertise in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital innovation. This is aimed at enhancing the race experience, making it more personalised, interactive, and accessible for both runners and spectators.

The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris adds to Tata Consultancy Services' growing roster of global running events, which includes World Marathon Major races in major cities such as New York, London, Chicago, Boston, and Sydney, alongside marathons in Amsterdam, Mumbai, Singapore and Toronto. Across these 14 global running events, more than 600,000 runners participate annually.

The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris attracts over 55,000 participants from more than 145 nationalities. The collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services aims to leverage AI, data analytics, and digital twin technology for advancements in race strategy, personalised training insights, performance tracking, and sustainability.

Tata Consultancy Services has established itself as a reliable partner for global corporations, offering advanced technology solutions to complex challenges. The company's commitment to integrating technology with sports for community benefit has been widely acknowledged. Notably, it has become the second global IT services brand to surpass the USD $20 billion mark, with a brand valuation of USD $21.3 billion, as reported in the Brand Finance IT Services 2025 rankings.

The agreement will also make use of Tata Consultancy Services Pace PortTM Paris, part of its network of innovation hubs across 12 cities globally. Initial areas for exploration will include AI-powered immersive race experiences, personalised AI trainers, and well-being strategies, as well as performance insights and tools to improve motivation and engagement.
