Blue Cloud joins BSNL 5G FWA panel in Maharashtra, Goa

Mon, 12th Jan 2026

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions has joined a partner panel for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's 5G Fixed Wireless Access services in the Maharashtra and Goa telecom circles.

The company said the empanelment covers delivery of Internet Leased Line services using 5G Fixed Wireless Access, also known as 5G FWA. The arrangement sits alongside Blue Cloud Softech Solutions' work in enterprise IT and cybersecurity.

BSNL operates as a state-owned telecoms provider in India, with a focus on fixed and mobile connectivity. 5G FWA uses mobile spectrum and radio equipment to deliver broadband services at a fixed location.

Regional focus

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions said the Maharashtra and Goa circles form its initial footprint for the BSNL panel role. The company characterised the move as an expansion of its presence in western India.

The company also outlined a set of products it expects to market alongside connectivity services. It listed Access Genie, which it described as an access management platform for authentication and network control. It also listed BluHealth, which it described as a digital health ecosystem with telemedicine, remote monitoring, and patient data management.

It also named Cyber Security SoHo EDR, which it described as an endpoint detection and response product aimed at small offices and home offices.

Railway tie-up

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions linked the BSNL panel appointment to an existing memorandum of understanding with Konkan Railway Corporation. It said it plans to use KRCL dark fibre as part of the deployment in the first phase.

The company said Phase 1 covers connectivity and digital services across railway stations. It listed IPTV services that include live TV, on-demand content, and infotainment. It also listed the Blure Bharat App, which it said includes travel information, public services, entertainment, and hyperlocal offerings.

The company described the station work as a "smart rail hubs" programme. It also said it expects to deploy security products alongside connectivity services for both institutional operations and end users.

Revenue projection

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions included a financial projection linked to Phase 1 of the KRCL programme. It said the model "is anticipated to generate a minimum revenue of INR 178 crore over a two-year period".

The company attributed the forecast to a combination of connectivity and digital services at railway stations. It listed IPTV, the Blure Bharat App, and security platforms among the components of the offering.

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions set the BSNL relationship and the KRCL work in the context of broader plans for public infrastructure projects.
