Magellanic Cloud has secured orders worth more than INR ₹111.04 crore across its technology and surveillance businesses, including contracts from Indian Railways divisions, banks, GAIL and DFCCIL.

The Hyderabad-based company booked the orders over recent months through subsidiaries including Provigil Surveillance, IVIS International and Motivity Labs. The contracts cover railway surveillance, banking site monitoring, industrial surveillance and technology services.

A large share of the recent order flow came from railway-related work. Through Provigil, the group won contracts from several railway zones and divisions, including Northwestern Railway, Southeastern Railway, South Western Railway, South Central Railway, East Coast Railway, East Central Railway and Western Railway.

These included an INR ₹8.21 crore surveillance project for the Bikaner Division, an INR ₹3.44 crore AI-led e-surveillance project from Southeastern Railway, an INR ₹3.59 crore contract from South Western Railway and an INR ₹7.64 crore order for the Nanded Division under South Central Railway.

Later awards added to the pipeline, including combined orders worth INR ₹4.31 crore from East Coast Railway and South Western Railway, an INR ₹3.13 crore surveillance order for the Dhanbad division, and two more South Central Railway contracts worth INR ₹6.25 crore and INR ₹6.93 crore.

Western Railway added another major booking with an INR ₹12.13 crore surveillance project for the Ratlam Division. Earlier railway wins had already taken the company's railway order book beyond INR ₹250 crore.

Banking contracts

Outside transport, Magellanic Cloud expanded its banking business through IVIS. Manappuram Finance issued a letter of intent for AI-based e-surveillance across more than 1,000 branches.

Punjab National Bank was also part of the latest deals. Through NCR Corporation India, IVIS received multiple purchase orders for e-surveillance across 1,000 PNB ATM sites, with a total value of about INR ₹18.4 crore over five years, including capital and operating expenditure components.

Industrial and corridor work

In the industrial segment, GAIL awarded Provigil an INR ₹12.76 crore order for an integrated e-surveillance project, extending the company's infrastructure monitoring work.

DFCCIL placed two separate orders with Provigil Surveillance. One, worth INR ₹3.73 crore, covers CCTV surveillance across the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor under a five-year operating expenditure contract for deployment and operations.

A second DFCCIL order, worth INR ₹8.90 crore, covers an IP-based CCTV surveillance system across various locations, also under a five-year operating expenditure model. Together, the two contracts deepen the company's presence in freight corridor surveillance.

Technology business

The latest order tally also includes a software and technology services contract. Motivity Labs secured multiple purchase orders from what the company described as a leading global technology company in the MANGA group.

The business was valued at about USD $1.21 million, equivalent to roughly INR ₹11.62 crore at an exchange rate of INR ₹96 to the dollar. The deal adds an international element to a run of mostly domestic infrastructure and banking wins.

Magellanic Cloud operates across digital technology, cloud, artificial intelligence, e-surveillance and drone-related activities. Its subsidiaries include Motivity Labs, Provigil Surveillance, IVIS International, Scandron, MCRAYXTEND India and JNIT Technologies.

The mix of contracts highlights how the group's order flow is spread across public sector transport bodies, state-backed industrial clients, lenders and overseas technology customers. Railways remain a key source of work, while banking and industrial surveillance have also become meaningful contributors in the latest batch of business.

Many of the newer awards also include multi-year operating structures rather than one-time installation work. This is particularly evident in the DFCCIL and Punjab National Bank contracts, which combine deployment with longer-term service and monitoring elements.

The latest disclosure did not break down margins or timelines for revenue recognition. It did show that a significant portion of the orders came through surveillance-focused subsidiaries rather than directly through the parent company.

Joseph Sudheer Reddy Thumma, Chairman & Managing Director of Magellanic Cloud, commented on the recent run of orders. "The consistent flow of orders reflects the growing acceptance of our technology-led solutions and the strength of our execution capabilities. Our focus remains on building a diversified and scalable business platform, expanding our customer base and converting the growing opportunity pipeline into sustainable revenue growth. The continued addition of marquee institutional and corporate customers provides increasing visibility for our next phase of growth," said Thumma.
