Aquablue opens Morristown HQ after 40% workforce rise

Fri, 27th Mar 2026

Aquablue has opened a new headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey, following workforce growth of more than 40% over the past year.

The communications aggregator said the relocation puts it in downtown Morristown, close to New York's financial sector and a concentration of healthcare, technology and multinational businesses. It described the site as a larger base for its expanding team as demand rises for services that bring multiple connectivity suppliers under a single commercial and operating model.

Headcount rose by 13% in the first quarter alone. Recent hires include Erika Agatone as Chief Financial Officer, along with new staff in service delivery, finance, quoting operations and the Network Operations Centre.

Around 30% of the workforce is made up of women across finance, operations, marketing and network services roles. Aquablue linked the latest hiring to broader investment in staff, infrastructure and operational scale.

Growth push

Aquablue operates in a part of the telecoms market focused on simplifying network procurement and management for multinational customers. Instead of negotiating with multiple carriers in different countries, clients work with a single provider that coordinates contracts, support and service oversight across regions.

That approach has gained traction as companies manage more distributed technology estates, rising network demands and greater pressure to oversee suppliers closely. Businesses in healthcare, financial services, media, government and education must keep digital infrastructure running consistently across multiple sites and jurisdictions.

Aquablue said those conditions have helped drive its recent expansion. The company said enterprises increasingly want a clearer operating structure for global connectivity as data-heavy applications and broader infrastructure distribution add complexity to network management.

Chris Marino, Chief Executive Officer of Aquablue Network, said the office opening reflects that broader expansion. "This new office represents more than just a change of address," Marino said. "It reflects the momentum we're building as a company and our commitment to investing in our people, our clients, and our long-term vision. Downtown Morristown is an ideal location for our next phase of growth."

Market context

Communications aggregation has become more visible as large organisations try to reduce the administrative burden of buying telecoms services market by market. For many multinationals, connectivity still involves a patchwork of carriers, differing contract terms and separate support processes, making accountability harder to track when problems arise.

Aquablue said its model is designed to address that by giving customers one commercial framework and one operating model across global networks. It argues this gives clients a clearer line of responsibility and a more standardised way to manage network performance and support.

Marino said demand is being shaped by the need to manage complexity without losing control. "As enterprises scale globally and digital infrastructure becomes more critical than ever, organizations are looking for partners who can simplify multi-carrier complexity while maintaining performance and control," he said. "Our focus remains on delivering that clarity, scalability, and accountability for our clients."

Industry recognition

Aquablue also highlighted recognition in industry and regional business awards. It said it was named a Business of the Year finalist and honoree by NJBIZ and shortlisted at the Global Connectivity Awards for its NOC-as-a-Service offering.

Those acknowledgements come as providers across the telecoms and managed network sector compete to position themselves as simpler access points for global enterprise connectivity. Demand has been driven by cloud adoption, wider use of artificial intelligence tools, more remote and distributed operations, and expectations that networks should be managed more consistently across borders.

Morristown has increasingly attracted businesses seeking proximity to New York without basing operations in the city itself. The area offers employers access to regional transport links and talent from the wider New Jersey and New York labour markets.

Aquablue said the new headquarters was designed to support collaboration among employees, clients and partners as the business expands.
