Consistent Infosystems has launched a 2MP Dual Light CCTV AHD Bullet Camera in India for home, office and commercial surveillance.

The camera offers 2MP resolution, dual LED spotlights for colour night vision, and infrared night vision with a range of up to 20 metres. It also features a built-in microphone for real-time audio recording and supports UTC, or Up-The-Coax, control, allowing compatible camera settings to be adjusted through a DVR.

The launch expands Consistent's surveillance portfolio as it grows its presence in IT hardware, networking, electronics and security products. The company supplies products across India through a network of channel partners and also sells online.

The new model has a white bullet-style body with a multi-angle mounting base for different installation positions. Its weather-resistant housing is designed for outdoor use, while integrated front-facing LED spotlights support colour video capture in low-light conditions when activated.

The camera includes a 3.6mm fixed lens. Its infrared mode is designed to support monitoring in dark conditions at distances of up to 20 metres.

Price and reach

Consistent has set the maximum retail price at INR 2,999. The camera is being distributed through the company's channel partner network across India.

The launch comes as suppliers in India's surveillance market continue to target demand from households, small offices and commercial sites seeking lower-cost camera systems with audio recording and night vision. Products in this segment typically focus on basic monitoring needs and compatibility with existing DVR-based installations.

Founded in New Delhi in 2011, Consistent sells across several product categories, including print consumables, surveillance products, electronics and gaming items. The company says it has more than 25 branches, over 93 service centres, more than 400 direct employees and exports to 17 countries.

It also says it works with 3,795 channel partners across India and offers a portfolio of more than 693 products. Those figures underline the importance of distribution scale for hardware brands competing in price-sensitive parts of the market.

Commenting on the launch, Yogesh Agrawal, CMD and Co-Founder, Consistent Infosystems, said: "Reliable surveillance is important across homes and business environments. With our 2MP Dual Light Bullet Camera, we aim to offer a practical solution that combines night vision, audio recording and convenient camera control to meet everyday monitoring needs."
