Savex Technologies has expanded its partnership with PeopleLink to distribute audio-visual and unified communications products across India, extending PeopleLink's reach through Savex's channel network.

Under the arrangement, Savex will take PeopleLink's portfolio to partners serving enterprise, education, healthcare and government customers. The offering spans AV hardware, room technology and collaboration software, with both cloud and on-premises deployment options.

The agreement combines PeopleLink's products with Savex's distribution footprint of more than 10,000 channel partners across 750 cities. Savex will use its network, logistics operations and technical resources to widen adoption of the portfolio in India.

PeopleLink develops video conferencing, unified communications and AV collaboration products. Its range includes conference cameras, videobars, professional audio systems, interactive displays, digital podiums, LED video walls, room automation products and meeting room systems.

Channel reach

The partnership reflects continued demand from organisations updating workplace communication systems and collaboration tools. It also highlights the growing role of distributors in bringing bundled hardware and software products to a broad base of resellers and integrators across India.

Savex, founded in 1986 and headquartered in Mumbai, has 39 sales offices and 42 stock locations, supported by more than 600 staff. The company focuses on information and communication technology distribution and works with a large national partner base.

PeopleLink, founded in 2007, is based in India and has subsidiaries in the United States, Dubai and Saudi Arabia. It serves customers in more than 30 countries through a network of partners and system integrators, and carries out research, manufacturing and assembly in India.

The partnership is intended to give channel partners access to a single supplier relationship for a wide range of collaboration products, from small meeting rooms to larger auditoriums, classrooms and command environments.

Commenting on the agreement, Savex highlighted the breadth of PeopleLink's range and its fit with the distributor's partner network.

"What makes PeopleLink particularly compelling is the breadth of technology they have built under one roof. Partners can address everything from a small meeting room to a large auditorium, classroom or command environment using an integrated portfolio of AV hardware, room technology and software. Combined with PeopleLink's Indian R&D and manufacturing capabilities and Savex's nationwide partner ecosystem, we see an opportunity to build a significantly larger collaboration solutions business," said Raunak Jagasia, Director, Business Development & Corporate Strategy, Savex Technologies.

PeopleLink said the expanded relationship would help it reach more businesses and public sector users through Savex's established distribution base.

"We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Savex Technologies, a trusted leader in India's ICT distribution ecosystem. Together, we are committed to empowering partners with innovative, AI-powered collaboration solutions that address the evolving needs of modern workplaces. This collaboration will enable businesses across industries to accelerate digital transformation through secure, scalable and intelligent communication technologies," said Amit Chowdry, Founder & CEO, PeopleLink.
